Fishy Business this Tablescape Thursday

Don't forget to check out all the other wonderfully talented tablescape artists out there click the side link to get to Susan's and check them out too;)

Last time I posted which I can't believe was much too long ago I showed off our deck addition. Well this week it's the deck all decked out for a little evening with friends!!

I guess it's a little tropical with the pineapple candle in the center and little fishies everywhere!

I never would have imagined that turquoise and red could look so good together but I think I like it!

Aren't these the cutest little critters!! They were the inspiration for the tablescape!
I think they were $2.00 each at Target!

And of course these followed soon after. I actually picked these up at Christmas time or maybe even before then on sale at TJ Maxx, there were four different ones so I picked up one of each!

Add ImageStill trying to decide which my favorite is!

I think I like this one.. the best.... I think;)

But they are all so cute....

Casual outdoor dining with friends....

Hope you enjoy all the other posts at Susan's over at

Hugs French;)

I bought some little fish plates the other day, at HomeGoods. They'll be seen in a tablescape soon. I have those same S&P's.

I just saw those fish s/p shakers over at Pat's, and I think I'm seeing another run on s/p shakers at Target (instead of birds flying the coop, we'll have fish swimming the waters!) Your tablescape and your deck are wonderful. Those square fish plates are fabulous! What a wonderful place to dine. laurie

Oh, your orange and white clown fish looks just like my Georgie that lives in my 90 gallon saltwater aquarium! Same shade and everything. This is delightfully pretty. I do love those colors together. And my deck is almost finished. Can't wait to get this steel boot off my boot so I can decorate it!

I came back by to mention that I am hosting a Christmas in July Tablescape Party at my Playing Dishes blog. There will be one held each Saturday this month. Please come and participate or at least visit. A holiday tablecloth will be given away on the last Saturday, July 25. Info on signups is available by clicking my sidebar memes available on both my blogs.

I am also having a weekly Christmas giveaway at my Christmas Memories in My Heart blog. Weekly entries are closed out a midnight on Wednesday for this.

Hopefully some of you tablescape regulars will pull together a tablescape for CIJ or pull out some photos from last year to post.

Happy CIJ!
