Hundreds of thousands of dollars are spent every year having plastic surgery! The percentage of men having it has almost doubled over the last ten years!
I am an advocate of plastic surgery in that if you have the money and want something changed go for it! However, like anything else it needs to be done in moderation! There are plenty of examples out there of those who have taken it way too far! Thoughts anyone!?

pretty sure my answer is NO. I am not good about needles ....or pain for that matter...If it requres this tootsie to sit still and recover...it can't be done. I don't have time...or the ability to rest!
I saw what my former boss went through. The change was so suttle for all that pain. I DON"T THINK SO! If a car accident yes, but just to lift here or there, no. Age is just a number. My hubby is 8 years younger than me. I was 27 he was 19. Now we look the same.Kathy
Do you know what the worst type of plastic surgery is French?.
haha! If hubby was to cut up my credit card. Kathy.
Seriously though, I think plastic surgery can be a very good thing if you suffer from a physical defect or flaw that diminishes your self-esteem, but myself I don't really understand going under the knife, if you don't really have to, Like I said no pain, no way, no how, for me. Kathy.
ps. Love OneRepublic and Eric Clapton.
Well when I need it and IF I can afford it, I would do some minor things like eyelids and frown lines for sure....
Would I go under the Knife? You bet your sweet cheeks!!!! If I had the money, I would get the works done. Nothing drastic.. just a little nip and tuck here and there.. and I would get a new set of perky boobies... LOL!!!!
Well after having 2 C Sections I am accustomed to recovery time and what I know for sure is you get over it.
So, yes surgery does not scare me and I love bikinis so if I could afford I'll do it!
Maybe bigger boobs and a tummy tuck!

Remember my book recommendation? Anything from Patrick Sanchez? Well, one of his books, "Tight" deals with just this issue. How plastic surgery affects the lives of three different women, all with very different views on plastic surgery. Definitely read it. It's also hysterical!
In my opinion, I think plastic surgery is great, in moderation. I'd love to some day have my upper and lower lids done, if money would EVER allow, that is. But I cannot stand these women who have so many procedures that they wind up looking like a replica of something that might be human. Look at John Rivers. It looks like her skull is trying to break through the TIGHT skin!
Justine :o )
I've already picked out my surgeon! He does beautiful face work. I'm going to have an eyelift first. Probably in mid September. If all goes well I'll go back for a face and under chin lift. I've been wanting an eyelift for over 10 years, but have only recently gotten the courage to know I'm doing it. This surgeon's practice does local numbing rather then put you completely out. Seems much safer to me, and is what has me saying yes.
Almost every friend I have has already had something done. I think the facelifts are the trickiest. In S. Florida they pull women too tight in my opinion. In Atlanta, the look is softer.
I've done botox and line fillers when I've had the extra money. It only hurts a little. LOL

I wanted to add that I think that some of the upper big lips have gotten too extreme. You can always spot them!
Also, I feel soooo sorry for Priscilla Presley. She used to be such a beautiful woman. And Joan Van Ark!????
Oh my heck, an alien in disguise?!!! I just knew it! We love aliens at our house when they're legal and "come in peace" so welcome to America!! Now, plastic surgery....I do have to admit if I could afford it I would have a tummy tuck and my, shall we say "my upper half" lifted! I seem to have inherited things that droop. Even as a teenager when I was much thinner. :( My mother always called my arms "Emery" arms after her Grandma Emery. Well the arms are the least of my worries. Otherwise I don't think, unless I had a disfiguring accident, that I would be too interested in having work done. I'm okay with the lot God gave me except the torso section!! Have a great holiday weekend friend!
I have to work tomorrow too. My job is open 24/7 and I work all the holidays of the year in order to get Thanksgiving and Christmas off. It's a trade off but it works for me.
Hi French :)
As Rich would say "Don't hate because your country is the apartment above the cool bar" LOL I fixed the falls. How would I know?? Never been.
Plastic surgery... yep, if I wasn't chicken on my belly. Cesareans have not been kind. No stretch marks though :)
Tattoo.... Nope, but Rich has 3. My name is over his heart, our entwined zodiac symbols (that I drew) are on his left shoulder and the American flag is on his right shoulder. I like them on him ;)
Oh and yes you do look like her with sunglasses on, but you're prettier than her without them :)
hugs,
rue
My first instinct is to say no but after reading other comments, I wouldn't mind having the upper portion lifted a bit and the mid section tucked! I've always wanted to have the lids lifted but I'm too chicken to do it. Maybe if I knew someone (like Penny does) that I had seen success results from, I would go for it. I only have one friend who has had anything done. The women in South Florida are down right scary! I used to see women that had gone way over the deep end with surgeries.
