Tablescape Tuesday

Hosted by none other than Susan at
http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/

OK so I am totally cheating this week....I had no time to put anything together so I found these pictures that I took in June...this was my daughter's graduation dinner at home.

We had a simple gathering with my in-laws that drove all the way in from Canada to be with her... on her big day!! I decided to try and impress them just a little by throwing this table scape together for them;) Just kidding Mum xoxo

Cost of the table scape $20 includes candles, tablecloth, sand and vases..the rest was stuff I already had;)
Cost of spending time with family, and having a daughter that started college yesterday and is SINGLE.....and finally on the right path
priceless.......
Hugs and have a great day;)

Lisa, I have always loved this tablescape of yours. It is not cheating. I am sure many of us have not seen it. And who would want to miss it. There are some great inexpensive ideas used here to create a cozy atmosphere. I love it as much now as the first time I saw it. I really think using the sand & candles in the vases are a great idea.

So glad to hear your daughter has started going down the right path!!! It was scary there for awhile, wasn't it Mom?? I've always said that the hardest part of child rearing for me was after they finished high school - you have to trust that you did your job right, because once they reach 18 a parent doesn't have much control. Take care, Sally

I don't think it's cheating as long as you set the table yourself, who cares when it was done?
I didn't understand your commment on my Blog Goals post, but I know it's probably something I want to know, so come back and re-explain when you have time, please!

French,
Your table is very stylish. Understated elegance at its finest! I love the sand in your hurricanes. Very clever. After living in FL for 11 years, I have fallen in love with all things tropical. I once read an article in Traditional Home about British Colonial decor - loved it! Re-did my Master suite to imitate the photos. Will imitate your table soon. ;)
