New Year's Resolutions.....hmmmm????

This is the body I want....(yeah right?) Have you seen her dancing on Dancing with the Stars? She is truly amazing!

I want his talent in decorating and I would love to make people smile the way he does on the reveals....... you know that warm and fuzzy feeling you get when you make someone really happy! Oh and having his budget would really help!;)

I want to have her voice.....(Dogs hear me singing and run!!) No Joke!

I want my hubby to be as romantic as Edward is in "Twilight"...I guess it would take 300+ years to be alive (lol) Just kidding honey!

I want her writing skills and luck she had with "Twilight" as I attempt to write a book I may never finish or be happy with......

I want a closet just for my shoes that looks just like this one;) Hey a girl can dream can't she? Oh wait I need the shoes too! Any donations out there?

I want to be able to cook like her..... and actually enjoy it too! Oh never mind let's just have her cook for me every day...that would be better;)

I want his sense of humor....and I want to make people laugh until their bellies hurt!

I want her wardrobe.......and be able to pull it off only as she can! Stunning!

Last but not least I want to own a pair of these (sigh)....Christian LeBoutin shoes..... Why? I don't know because I surely can't wear them often but hey that means they would last forever right?
Just one of those things that is totally ridiculously pointless but why not?
So there.....these are my New Year's resolutions....which ones do you think are actually attainable this year? I am finally feeling better! Thanks for all the well wishes! Let's have a great
!!!2009!!!
Hugs French;)

That pretty much sums up the desires of everyone in Blogland! Let's see you are a talented designer already! You are super slim, so that body is not impossible for you, as for the wardrobe and shoe closet? youre on your own there!

So happy youre feeling better! Yay! Glad to see you Lisa!

If you have Paula Dean cooking for you, you sure won't have a body like that! I think you are well on your way in the writing department and the sense of humor department too. That shoe closet is the size of some homes! Those shoes would absolutely commit murder on my feet, and I'd probably fall down and break something if I attempted walking in them. Fun post. Glad you are feeling better. laurie

They ALL sound good to me. Especially SJP!

Oh French, I'm just glad you're you! Looks to me by your Holiday spread you know how to cook, your home is gorgeous - you just need to get paid like Angelo - LOL and you're hot to me...- (if you saw me think Rosanne or Rosie O'Donnel) the singing I don't know about I can't sing a lick either....I'd love the shoes and the closet organization too....Robyn

My resolution is to be 5 mintues early to all my appointments. Same resolution as last year so I'm still trying! But, after hearing this AWESOME song you picked out, I may be having difficulty due to the fact that I'm also a midnight toker. Woo Hoo, Happy New Year!

That shoe closet rocks, but most of all I'd like to have Angelo's personality. He's such a gifted guy and is never at a loss for kind words. Scoop him up with a spoon!

Hope you're feeling a bunch better Frenchie girl. :-)

Hugs,
Penny

Ha! LOL! You are too funny! Yes I'd love to have a body like Edyta! I wish I could dance like her too! I'm addicted to that show!!!!

So happy to see a new posting as you must be feeling a little better.

Such a 'super' list with the exception of Paula Deen. The woman may be a talented Chef BUT why in the "H" she continuously licks her fingers during food preparation is beyond my Canadian comprehension...smiles. It is SO UNSANITARY & UNPROFESSIONAL.
YUCK! (Observe her the next time she is on T.V.) Hugs, hugs

Good to hear your're feeling better :). Did you hear about all the shoes that spilled out on the highway in Florida?..what a shame. I make resolutions every day....usually screw it up by the end of that day. I hope you're better at it then me. Cindy

Hi sweet Lisa...after reading your list of wants...I think you have most of them already...especially the looks, writing & decorator ones! Those stilletos give me the shivers! as for Paula Deen licking her fingers...if she would cook for me she could lick the bowl & I wouldn't care...LOL...I haven't heard of her killing anyone yet...
Glad you are feeling better, ♥ Bo

Dear Ms. French ... your resolutions and wishes for the New Year were so much fun to look at and to read! Wish I had known you when I had to get rid of all my heels (hip surgery, bunion surgery and on and on.) I'm size 8 by the way.

Hi French :)

You already have that body, you make people happy and you're funny, so my New Years wish is that you get the rest :)

Yeah I can relate to this post! The only thing I might not want are those shoes...too hogh for me and I would be towering above my hubby. I haven't read Twilight but my 20 yr old daughter is on the last book in the series and she said Edward was ruined her from finding a boyfriend...because none measure up! LOL Guess I'll need to read the books and find out what all the fuss is about!

I guess we are more alike than I thought! You summed it up perfectly...:)

I dare say.. I agree with you on most of your wishes... (except for the shoes... I have a bad back/nexk and have figured out that good and healthy shoes will keep me going for a few hours more.. but Oh.. I DO own a pair of stilettoes..even though I am way too tall)

G-man seems to be pretty romantic already, no? Now, if only he could sparkle in the sunlight, that'd be just perfect. Sigh.

As for your body, it's already rockin' so I don't know what you're complaining about!

Now, email me and tell me how all the tests you've had recently came out!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I am beyond flattered to be on your list with those incredible people. Paula, Sara, Celine & Robin! WOW!

You belong on your own list because you're cultivating your own incredible talent and not trying to be someone else. Continue to do what you do and don't let others define you or your style.

I like the way you think! And I am so with you on the CL shoes, but good grief, the horses wouldn't recognize me in them! Nevermind though...I think I could definitely find a way to incorporate them into my shoe collection. You have a fun blog...I will visit again. :-)

New to your blog...I've eaten at Paula Deen's restaurant twice and her brother's once....calories by the bucket full but delicious...

I noticed the Alzheimer's button on the sidebar...my brother is in early stages...so sad...

Enjoyed the visit...Betty

You are already most of what you wish for. You've got the great body, you are a talented designer. You are a great cook, a yet-to-be recognized writer, and a lady with a great sense of fashion and humour. I'm not sure if you can sing. (If the casette tape recording I have somewhere of two ten year olds singing "Emotion" by Samantha Sang, is any example--you can at the very least say that you bare a close resemblence to the woman you pictured above with the beautiful voice) No one in touch with reality has a romantic guy like Edward (that's why we love the character;we always want what we can't have)---and YOU'D KILL YOURSELF IN THOSE SHOES!!! You don't need the pain. Most of the people on your list have only one talent and great agents. They would be envious of you--if only you could be more publicly recognized. If it helps, I am one of your greatest fans. I love you and if all went well you will actually receive this post. xoxo
