Tablescape Tuesday

Tablescape Tuesday hosted by Susan at: http://www.betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/

So this time I decided to share a simple table scape with our everyday dishes!

Trust me most days this is NOT how it looks...not even close (lol)
You see this precious little fellow? This was a gift and he holds a bottle of wine isn't he cute?

I added a little Christmas decor to make it look pretty!

I know it's weird to see the palms with the Christmas decor but hey on Christmas eve it was 73 degrees here! I love the mosaic candle holder the reflection it gives off in the evening is incredible!

A close up of the glasses with the palm trees!

Table for four please!

I think this little doggie is so cute! You see my Tally in the background trying desperately to get into the picture!

I tried to get some pictures of the table on Christmas eve. Every year we have a drop in and this year was no different! We had a total of 27 people that dropped in! I didn't have all the food on the table yet but here's a small preview of most of it! I know bad blogger right?

Where's the shrimp? Oh yeah....had no room in my fridge had to store it at the neighbor's!
G-man go get the shrimp please!

We had a great drop in! The only thing missing of course is all of our friends and family from Canada! Maybe next year?

Hope you all have a great day and the Happiest of New Year's to ALL!!

Hugs Lisa and G-man

This is beautiful--I love how you've layered things. The textures are such a great idea. I just want to lean in closer and stare. But those glasses add just the right punch of color. Oh, I do love this, Madame.
Your party food looks delicious! But I'm trying not to look. I started my diet today (too many petit fours).

It's just a glitch French, it will return, mine did that earlier tonight....it was scary. Then it asked me for my user name and password and then it wouldn't take it -over and over and over - yikes! It returned as quickly as it left! Both of your tables are beautiful! The food looks yummy! Our Christmas was a balmy 38 degrees! A heat wave! Seriously, your table is very pretty and that little wine dog is too cute. My brother would really like that. ~ Robyn

French, it IS gone. I was hoping you meant just a little bit--but it has vanished. Maybe Blogger can straighten it out.

Good luck with your Ebay hunting. I have been searching for chargers and can't seem to find what I want. But I have seen oodles of dishes. There was a sale on bird house dishes--a whole set. I almost made an offer and forgot about it. They were pretty, though.

A beautiful setting French. Just perfect. I love your wall color, it's beautiful. Most of my house is real estate white, just like all my houses since 1992,plus our apartments that we owned. I am so sick of it. Wish I could do something different, but my walls are all open rooms, no stopping point. I wish I had your talent.

Love Ya,
Chris

I love your every-day table look. And I adore glass mosaic candle holders. Have quite a few myself. So, sounds like your crowd was just about the same size as mine. Although, I bet your kitchen is all spic and span by now. Mine's NOT.

Hi French...wonderful tablescape! I was just thinking how I love the way the palm tree glasses look with the "shutter" back chairs and woven placemats. The colors, different textures and designs have that "Hemmingway" feel to me...does that sound crazy? :-) I love the warmth and coziness of this tablescape. Thanks for another great Tablescape Tuesday! Susan

I love your wine bottle holder! I bought a similar one for my aunt - it was of a chef. I found it while I was living in Germany, but I've never seen anything like that again.

Ok, forget the table scape...I'm all about the food! And I wonder why I need to drop 30 next year, LOL.

Have a great New Year's!
