Where does the time go?

It felt like yesterday that I was screaming in pain and crying about being told I was going to have a C-section...my daughter even then was stubborn ( go figure) she comes by it honestly (lol)..and just Saturday I found myself standing at her side working on her hair trying to get it just right for senior prom night! I look in the mirror and think, where has the time gone, where have the years gone, thank goodness I still have my son who is only 10 now, but at the rate he is growing an inch a month it seems, he will be looking down at me in no time! And to think he is riding around in his 4 wheeler, and his best friend always at his side or in this case right behind him ( yikes) ! Life is so short, and seems to go so fast, if I had one dream it would be to slow life down just a bit so I could watch it in slow motion instead of at what seems like fast forward!

Love your family photo and your daughter looks just like you! Yes, if there were one thing I could slow down it would be time. My oldest, a daughter is getting married this July and as happy as I am for her I am a bit sad for me. She met her future husband at jury duty!! but he has since taken a job in Michigan, almost 4 hours away. My daughter still lives at home and teaches first grade. Although they have purchased a home, walking distance from the beach she has decided not to move in until they are married. She is very close to and such a great role model for her younger brother and sister. I will miss her so much. Now I know why there is 10 years between her and her siblings...I have a hard time letting go. What will I do when there are no more children to raise?LOL I have been blessed with three great kids that have brought me so much joy and happiness...but I can't help but cry when we watch videos of them or I see pictures of when they were little...I'll always miss those days. What a beautiful family you have! Ahh, what you say is so true-I've found with each passing year, time seems to go faster. When you're young, it seems to take FOREVER! I Love the new pic you posted at the top of your page! That should definately be in a pretty frame somewhere in your home! :-) God bless, ~Jenn

Hi French, you have a beautiful family, I love that you've added them to your banner. You're right time does fly by before you know it, but it's wonderful all the way. And we never lose the memories. Deb

Lisa, Your family is such a blessing and they are really blessed to have you too!!!!! I'm afraid life does seem to go in fast motion - especially now with all our technology. Do you believe how many women we communicate with every day now??? The best part is we don't have to actually write one another to know that we are in each other's hearts! Grab your babies and give them a hug!!!! (if they will let you)..LOL Susan :)

Good morning sweet friend :)

You know that I know how you feel. I want to slow down the clock too. Your daughter is as beautiful as you are :)

How did dad do with the date part? I know Rich is already worried about it and we have YEARS to go before that happens LOL

Nothing new on the house yet. Just waiting and waiting...

love you,
rue

French, finally had a moment and wanted to stop by and say Hello. Darling little bag and candles. I am a purse junkie too. Your kids are precious... I too wish life would slow down. Funny how the older we get the faster the world spins. Everyday I have to remind myself to breath in their youth and enjoy the moment no matter how busy it gets. Take care, Heather
