Awards and Miscellaneous

I received two bookworm awards the other day, from Chris and Robyn
Thank YOU so much ladies;)
As you know, they always come with rules.
Pass this on to 5 blogging friends.
Open the closest book to you, not your favorite or most intellectual book, but the book closest to you at the moment, to page 56.
Write the 5th sentence, as well as two to five sentences following that...
So here it goes....this book is always within my reach
"The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne
"If you have an intuitive or instinctive feeling, follow it, and you will find that the Universe is magnetically moving you to receive what you asked for. Remember that you are a magnet, attracting everything to you. When you have gotten clear in your mind about what you want, you have become a magnet to draw those things to you, and those things you want are magnetized to you in return. The more you practice and begin to see the law of attraction bringing things to you, the greater the magnet you will become, because you will add the power of faith, belief and knowing."
"Think of a car driving through the night. The headlights only go two hundred feet forward, and you can make it all the way from California to New York driving through the dark, because all you have to see is the next two hundred feet. And that's how life tends to unfold before us. If we just trust that the next two hundred feet will unfold after that, your life will keep unfolding. And it will eventually get you to the destination of whatever it is you truly want, because you want it." Jack Canfield
I think several have already received this since I have been MIA for the last week...so forgive me if you have already received this award but in no particular order
Here's hoping I picked 5 that haven't already done it! If you haven't visited these people you need to and let them know I sent you;)
I have been missing in action and trying to stay busy. Writing, and decorating as I said. The doctor put my appt off until this coming Tuesday (ugh!) Almost finished Jacob's room and will post that soon, as well as another project I have been working on! Now I have to try and catch up to all the millions of posts I have missed! (sigh)
PS If you would rather be removed from the Blogge'ville story please let me know so I can take care of it! There's no point in having characters that aren't following the story. It's been difficult trying to keep it all from getting too confusing and I have the feeling there are some who would rather be removed, or at the very least have lost interest... so please I will take no offense just let me know Thanks;) French

Hi French! Good to see that you are able to get some decorating done... I'm betting that your son is excited and happy that you are spending the time on this! :-) ... I enjoy BOTH of your blogs and hope to remain a character in your story.

However, having said that, I am happy that you are taking the time from writing to get some home projects done and also spending time with family.

Take good care. :-) - SherylCanadianGirl

Hi French! Glad you're back...sounds like you've gotten a lot accomplished!

Thank you so much for this great award. I've never seen this one before, but I'm excited to try it out. I received the funniest book for my birthday...it should be a riot for my post.

Take care!

I can't tell you how many posts I've missed from everyone in the last couple of weeks. I'm trying to fix that right now, but I'm sitting outside and it's cold out here! Only 53 degrees! Brrrrrrrrrrrr

I can't wait to see Jacob's room. I totally understand being spread thin, it's very hard for me to blog and keep up with all the other things I have to do. I look forward to going to other blogs though. I've been thinking about taking mine down and just being a visitor.
I see you have ACDC on your playlist. We're going to see them in December. We saw Coldplay last week and they were unbelievably good. I lost my blog playlist and have begged for my password and they don't respond. Whatever. LOL
Good luck at your dr. visit.
Hugs, P

I sure hope the doctors get you figured out! I'm anxious to see what you did with Jacob's room. I have gotten so far behind on the Bloggerville thing...I just can't keep up with all the blogs and work and life lol...you can take me out if it will help make the story easier to follow. I don't know how you kept all those characters straight! Take care of yourself...and I'm praying that they get you healthy again!

Hey French !(I always want to say Frenchy)

Thanks for sending the book award my way. I am a voracious reader so we'll see what's beside my bed tonight apart from a huge stack of magazines (slight addiction).
Let's hope I don't touch "Sexy Hormones"

Loved the Secret and even read a few of the Law of Attractions.

I hope you're able to get some answers at the doctor's on Tuesday.
Do some yoga before you go ...to get you in a calm state of mind.

Take care,
Bre

My sister-in-law says The Secret has changed her son's attitude in life, for the better. I haven't read it myself, but if it reinforces postivity then I'm all for it.
Cosima's life has run her course and it's time to say goodbye to her.
Best of luck at the doctor's tomorrow. I'm praying for you.

Hi Lisa, how is the decorating of Jacob's room coming along? Do hope you'll post the finishing product.

Off topic....don't you have a Birthday coming up tomorrow (or very soon)? IF so, best wishes for a wonderful HAPPY BIRTHDAY and a great year. (IF mistaking, just consider it another one of 'Brenda's Senior Moments'.)
Many hugs....

Regarding the book The Secret...mmmm
I'm still waiting for my copy from MY FRIEND Brit Kathy as I'm sure it just got delayed in the mail....he, he.)

I think that I am the only person left on earth that hasn't read The Secret. Now I will have to pick it up. I am so behind on the booksdo I have, as well as magazines, and laundry and what not. All i have been doing is blogging. My Jacob said Geez, Mom that's all you do lately....and like he's not addicted to his PS3??? Can't wait to see your Jacob's room. Keep me in Bloggerville, I am a faithful reader - just not a faithful commenter....LOL ~ Robyn

Mrs. Ben you are correct Wed is my Bday so you were close;) I am starting to not like birthday's though (lol) just means more wrinkles now and less presents (he he) French;)

Lisa, You can NOT take me out of Bloggville!...(I am in the middle of getting laid for Gods sake!)...I really look forward to each chapter. So your birthday is coming up?! I agree about the wrinkles and presents. (Mine is fast approaching..next Friday...its a big one....one of the biggest!..yikes!) anyway I hope you do something special for yours..and I hope you are feeling better real soon. Oh, by the way, I feel the same way about guns....and shooting animals..it is very hard for me around this time of year..(you would think I would be used to it after 7 years of doing this. I know it has to be done...but some people act really silly about it. The hunters always ask..so how many registered?...I always want to say "There have been 375 murdered so far"...but I dont think they would get it....or like it. Take care, ~Cindy/Pam Tanna!
