Room for Everyone?

After looking through pages and pages of wonderful design on one of my favourite blogs " "Desire to Inspire"..I came up with these...

Now before you jump to quickly I tried very hard to find something in each of the rooms which may appeal to most of the regulars who visit.

So how did I do? Did I fail miserably? As I get older I find myself leaning more towards the lighter colors...and the more contemporary but still love my BC style;)
Which are your favorites and why? Oh and have you learned the Cupid Shuffle yet?
French;)

I'd say it was a smashing success. There is something about each and every one of these rooms that I can appreciate. I think that the bedroom with the turquoise chaise and the flokati rug is my favorite. I love the unique treatment painted across the ceiling and behind the bed.
Thank you for sharing these rooms. I never tire of looking at beautiful interior design.

Beautiful rooms. My only question is about the last room. Is the bed too close to the fireplace. I would think if they did have fires the bedding might be ruined by the heat, It is a lovely room, but this is only my concern for the fabrics. I love the room at the top of your blog.Kathy

Great post French, see that is why I am no good at this interior design lark, I love all of the spaces you chose, BUT if I had to chose just one, it would have to be that yellow arm chair with the toile and the little table, must be getting old coz I could totally see myself sitting there reading one of my fave books. You did a great job, I think there is something here that will appeal to everyone. hugs, Kathy. yep I have the shuffle all worked out!!!!.

All of the rooms were fabulous, Lisa, but the two which really caught my eye were the black and white kitchen, and the blue and white striped bedroom. Totally not my "usual" style, but just felt drawn to it.

And no, I have not learned the shuffle, but I did go to You Tube and found some videos to watch of other people doing it! Wish you would have taken video of your friends doing it for us to watch!

Oh, the steam cleaner is a Bissell Pro Heat 2 or something. It's wonderful and really affordable. I think I paid $168 for it at Wal-Mart. WELL worth the money!

There was definitely something about each room that I could appreciate, whether it was a room I would want in my home or not for the long term. I saved the pictures of the yellow reading chair corner and the dining room w/ the round table and plates on the wall.

I especially loved the salmon/peach room, but then again peach is my favorite color! This gets a huge round of applause from me bz each room was fabulous!

Hi French, great variety of rooms listed. I liked the salmon room because of the black picture frames. Plus it had a more contemporary feel to it. I think the colors in all the rooms were very appealing even if they weren't in a style that I liked. Great job.

lisa, oh such lovely rooms, thanks for sharing and there is beauty in each one. I have that desire also go lighter as my rooms are sooooo small, i have my new cabinet that has a warm wood and of course that will stay and my dark ottomon, but my black tv stand i really dont like, i want something lighter and more unique and also my end table needs to go. I have already removed the dark heavy colored mirror from above my cabinet and now have qoldish color, which im not completely happy with, so now im thinking of trying a mirror framed in mirror for sparkle....

I LOVE the pink bedroom. I want the green wall and the ivory drapes with the chair. I even like the white room with the bench and blue pillows. The retro room is too cool! Each piece from the chairs to the tables are just my style. And the taupe bedroom is to die for! And what about the bedroom with the blue chaise?! Good choices French! I love it!!!
